Schezwan Chicken

Spicy & Crispy Fried Chicken Tossed in Flavorful Chinese Sauces...Amazing Chinese Starter Recipe in a Simple way...Do Try this Delicious Recipe ! 

Ingredients :

Boneless Chicken - 500 Grams
Salt - As per Taste
Chilli Powder - 3 Tsp (You can also use Chilli Sauce)
Soya Sauce - 3 Tsp
Schezwan Sauce/Chutney - 4 Tsp
Tomato Ketchup - 1 Tsp
Black Pepper Powder - 2 Tsp
Egg - 1
Corn flour - 2 Tsp
Plain Flour (Maida) - 2 Tsp
Rice Flour - 1 Tsp
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp
Finely Chopped Ginger - 1 Tsp
Finely Chopped Garlic - 1 Tsp
Chopped Green Chillies - 1 Tsp
Oil for Frying 

Method :

1. Cut the Chicken into Strips.
2. Marinate the Chicken Pieces with 1 Tsp Soya Sauce, 1 Tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste, 2 Tsp Chilli Powder, Egg, Salt, 1 Tsp Black Pepper Powder & Keep it aside for 10 Minutes. 
3. To the Marinated Chicken add Corn Flour, Plain Flour, Rice Flour mix well. Heat Oil in a Kadhai & Fry the Chicken Strips on Medium-High Flame. Take it out on a Kitchen Towel/Tissue Paper. 
4. In a Pan, Heat 1 Tsp Oil. Add Chopped Ginger, Chopped Garlic, Chopped Green Chillies & Saute for few seconds. Add Schezwan Chutney, Tomato Ketchup, 2 Tsp Soya Sauce, 1 Tsp Black Pepper Powder, Pinch of Salt, 1 Tsp Chilli Powder and mix well. Add 1/2 Cup Water and let it Boil. 
Note : Do not add too much Salt since the Chinese Sauces contains salt. You can add some Red Food color as per your choice.
5. Mix 1 Tsp Corn Flour with some water & add this to the Sauces. Let it Cook for 2-3 Minutes till it Thickens. Now Switch off the Flame & add the Fried Chicken Strips. Saute & Coat the Chicken well with the Sauce. 

Garnish the Chicken Immediately. You can also add Finely Chopped Spring Onions while Serving.
