Masala Kokum Soda

Give a Chatakdar and flavorful twist to the Traditional Kokum Sharbat with this Experimental recipe..!

Ingredients


Kokum Syrup - 4-5 Tsp
1 Small lemon piece
1 Tsp - Lemon Juice
Pinch of salt
Roasted Jeera (cumin) powder - 1/2 Tsp
Black salt - 1/2 Tsp
Powdered sugar - 1 Tsp
Mint leaves - 4-5
Plain soda - 300 ml
Ice Cubes (Optional)

Method :

1. In a Stainless steel glass add mint leaves, lemon piece, lemon juice, salt, Jeera powder, black salt and crush it gently with a pounder or a heavy round spoon.
2. Transfer this mixture to the Serving glass. Add Kokum syrup and sugar to it.
3. Serving Tip : Apply little lemon Juice on the Serving glass edges and dip it in salt. Serve with a slice of lemon.
Note : You can increase the quantity of Kokum syrup and skip sugar.
4. Now slowly add Chilled Soda, some ice cubes and give it a gentle mix. 
Note : In case you don’t want to use Soda you can replace it with Chilled water and serve as Masala Kokum Sharbat.
