Moong Dosa

Rich in Proteins...Extremely Nutritious Breakfast Recipe that is Super Simple & Tastes Amazing !

Moong Dosa 

Ingredients :

Whole Green Moong - 1 Cup
Moong Dal - 1 Cup
Rice - 1 Cup
Ginger - 1 Inch Piece
Green Chillies - 2-3
Cumin (Jeera) - 1 Tsp
Some Coriander Leaves
Salt - As per Taste

Method :

1. Wash Moong Dal, Whole Moong & Rice thoroughly. Soak them in water for 6-7 Hours/Overnight.
2. Transfer the Soaked Mixture into a Mixer Jar. Add Chopped Green Chillies, Ginger, Coriander Leaves, Cumin Seeds, some Salt & blend it to a Smooth Paste.
3. Take it out in a Bowl & add some water to it till it reaches the Dosa Batter Consistency.
4. Heat a Non Stick Dosa Pan. Add 2 drops of oil and wipe it off with a Tissue Paper. Now Spread the Dosa, add few drops of Oil/Ghee to the sides and let the Dosa Cook. Take it out once it is done. No need to flip the dosa, but you may flip and cook it for few seconds as per your choice.

Coconut Chutney 

Ingredients

Scraped Coconut - 1 Cup
Green Chillies - 4-5
Salt - As per taste
1 Garlic pod
Tamarind - small piece
Small Piece of Onion 
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Pinch of Hing (Asafoetida)
Oil for tempering

Method :

1. Take Coconut, Green Chillies, Garlic, Salt, Tamarind, Onion and grind it to a smooth paste with the help of some water. Check and adjust the salt if needed. 
Note : Add water gradually.
2. Heat a tempering pan and add oil to it. Once the oil is heated add Mustard seeds and let it Splutter. Add Curry leaves, Hing, Immediately switch of the gas flame and pour it on the Chutney and cover the Chutney with a lid.
Note : Keep the gas flame low and do not allow the Tempering to burn.

Serve the Dosas with this Delicious Chutney !
