Poha Cutlet

Give a Twist to your Regular Poha Breakfast...Try this Delicious Recipe this Sunday !

Ingredients :

Boiled Potatoes - 4 Large Size
Poha - 1 Cup
Bread Crumbs - 3-4 Tsp/Adjust for Binding
Green Chillies - 3-4
Garlic Pods - 3-4
Chilli Powder - 3 Tsp
Lemon Juice - 2 Tsp
Salt - As per Taste
Handful of Chopped Coriander Leaves
Handful of Chopper Mint Leaves
Corn Flour - 4-5 Tsp
Sooji (Rava) - 2 Tsp
Oil for Frying

Method :

1. In a Mixer Jar grind the Green Chillies and Garlic Pods together to a coarse paste. Wash the Poha and keep it aside for 10 Minutes. 
2. In a Mixing Bowl mash the Boiled Potatoes & Poha.
3. Add in Chilli Garlic Paste, Chilli Powder, Lemon Juice, Salt, Chopped Coriander and Mint leaves and mix all these Ingredients together.
4. Now add Bread Crumbs and Corn Flour to the mixture and knead well.
Note : Adjust Bread Crumbs in the mixture till we are able to shape the Cutlets without cracks.
5. Take a Small portion of the prepared mixture and shape it according to your choice. Mix Sooji & Corn flour together and coat the Cutlets in it. 
6. Heat Oil in a Fry Pan and Shallow fry these Cutlets on medium flame till they turn Golden & Crisp. Take them out on a Kitchen Towel/Tissue Paper.
Note : Add the Cutlets to the Oil only once the Oil is heated properly else it soaks Oil & becomes Oily. 

Serve these Cutlets with Tomato Ketchup or Mint Coriander Chutney.
