Cheesy Spinach & Mushroom Sandwich
Healthy & Delicious..Packed with Proteins & Vitamins..Both Mushrooms & Spinach are Extremely Nutritious Superfoods...A Breakfast Recipe that will give a Kick Start to your Morning !
Ingredients :
Sliced Mushrooms - 1 Cup
Chopped Spinach Leaves - 1 Cup
Black Pepper Powder - 1 Tsp
Salt - As per Taste
Finely Chopped Onions - 2 Medium Size
Finely Chopped Garlic - 2-3 Tsp
Bread Slices(White/Brown) - 4
Cheese Slice - 2 (You can use Grated Cheese of your Choice)
Mint Coriander Chutney - 4 Tsp
Butter - 2-3 Tsp
Oil - 1 Tsp
Method :
1. Heat 1 Tsp Oil & 1 Tsp Butter in a Pan.
2. Add Chopped Garlic and Saute it for Few Seconds. Add Spinach & Mushrooms and Saute them well.
3. Season it with Salt & Pepper Powder. Switch off the flame once all the water released from Mushrooms & Spinach evaporates.
4. Once it comes to Room Temperature, add Chopped Onions & Mix well. Stuffing is Ready.
5. Apply Butter & Mint Coriander Chutney on the Bread Slices. Add a Generous amount of the Spinach-Mushroom Stuffing. Place a Cheese Slice & Arrange the Sandwich.
6. Toast it in a Sandwich Maker/On a Pan from both the Sides.
Serve the Sandwich with Mayonnaise or Tomato Ketchup. You can also serve it with Some Potato Chips..Do give this Recipe a Try :)
