Kolhapuri Smoky Chicken

Tender, Juicy & Delicious Chicken...Do Try this Lip Smacking Dish this Weekend !
Ingredients :
Chicken Cut into Medium Pieces - 500 Grams
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Coriander Powder - 2 Tsp
Salt - As per Taste
Tandoori Chicken Masala - 1 Tsp
Garam Masala - 1 Tsp
Chilli Powder - 2-3 Tsp
Lemon Juice - 3 Tsp
Kanda Lasoon Masala (Kolhapuri Masala)- 1 Tsp
Piece of Charcoal/Coconut Shell
Oil
Few Drops of Butter/Ghee for giving Smoke
Chopped Coriander Leaves & Sliced Onions for Garnish
Method :
1. Prepare a Marinate with Ginger-Garlic Paste, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Salt, Lemon Juice, Kanda Lasoon Masala (Kolhapuri Masala), Chilli Powder, Garam Masala, Tandoori Chicken Masala & 2 Tsp Oil.
Note : Add few drops of water to form a Thick paste.
2. Check if you need to adjust Salt or Chilli Powder and mix the Chicken Pieces well in the Prepared Masala.
3. Marinate the Chicken for about 1-2 hours.
4. In a Non Stick pan heat some Oil and shallow fry the Chicken pieces on low flame till they turn Golden brown and are well cooked from both the sides.
5. Burn a Charcoal piece/Coconut shell on the Gas flame. Keep it in the middle of the Pan in a bowl, add few drops of Butter/Ghee on it and Immediately close the Pan with a lid. Let this rest for about 15 Minutes till the Chicken absorbs all the Smoke.
Serve this Starter dish Hot with Chopped Coriander Leaves and some Sliced Onions with a dash of Lemon on it :)
