Khasta Masala Methi Mathri

Sharing a perfect and a no fail recipe of Khasta Mathris which will give you the perfect Halwai taste..You can enjoy these flavorful and Mouthwatering Mathris with a cup of Tea or Coffee. 



Ingredients

2 cups Maida ( Plain flour )
2 Tsp fine Sooji
1 Tsp Ajwain (Carrom seeds)
2 Tsp Kasuri Methi
1 Tsp crushed Black pepper corns
1 Tsp crushed Jeera
Salt - 1 Tsp/As per choice
Refined oil - 1/3 cup

Method :

1. In a large bowl take Maida, Sooji, ajwain, kasuri methi, crushed black pepper, jeera and salt and mix these dry ingredients well. 
2. Add oil at room temperature in it and now mix the flour with the oil thoroughly. You can rub the flour in between your palms to mix the oil well. 
3. Now start adding little by little water and knead a tight dough. 
Note : Do not add a lot of water at a time. Gradually add it.
4. Cover and rest the dough for about 15 minutes and knead it again for 1 minute.
5. Make small portions out of the dough and flatten them with the help of your fingers/palm. No need to roll them.
6. Heat oil in Kadhai for frying the Mathris.
7. On a very low flame deep fry the Mathris for about 10 minutes while flipping them till they turn crispy and golden in color.

Store the Mathris in a Air tight Jar. It can stay fresh up to 3 weeks.
