Kadhai Chicken Pulao

Craving for a Home made Chicken Biryani but you are out of Time ?? Here is a Simple yet Flavorful recipe of Kadhai Chicken Pulao which can be cooked quickly & tastes absolutely Delicious ! Do give this Recipe a Try !

Ingredients : 

Basmati Rice - 300 Grams
Chicken cut into small pieces - 300 Grams
Curd - 3 Tsp
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 2 Tsp
Lemon Juice - 2 Tsp
Finely Chopped Onions - 2 Medium Size
Finely Chopped Tomatoes - 1 Medium Size
Slit Green Chillies - 2-3
Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp
Coriander Powder - 2 Tsp
Chilli Powder - 4 Tsp
Garam Masala - 1 Tsp
Suhana Biryani Masala - 2 Tsp
Salt - As per Taste
Handful of finely chopped Coriander Leaves
Handful of finely chopped Mint Leaves
Black Pepper - 2 
Bay leaf - 1 
Oil - 3-4 Tsp

Method :

1. Marinate the Chicken with Curd, Salt, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Chilli Powder, Ginger-Garlic Paste, Lemon Juice, 1 Tsp Oil and keep it in the Refrigerator for at least 30 Minutes.
2. Wash and add the Basmati Rice to Boiling water and let it cook. Once the rice is cooked upto 95%, strain it and rinse with cold water.
Tip : Keep the Rice in the Refrigerator for 10-15 minutes so that it does not stick to each other. 
3. Heat Oil a wide Kadhai. Add Bay Leaf, Black pepper corns, finely chopped onions and saute till the onions are cooked. 
4. Add Chopped Tomatoes and let them cook on a low flame. Now add Biryani Masala, Garam Masala and Slit Green Chillies. 
5. Add the Marinated Chicken and saute well with the Masalas. Cook it on a low flame for 5 minutes & then add a glass of water. Place a lid on the Kadhai and let the Chicken cook completely. 
6. Once the Chicken is cooked and the water evaporates add in the Cooked Rice, Chopped Mint & Coriander Leaves, Salt & Saute well in the Masala on Medium Flame. 


Serve the Steaming Hot Kadhai Chicken Pulao with Dahi Raita & Some Onions with a dash of Lemon Juice.
